FAITH MUSONDA has denied allegations of acquiring a 180,000 dollars property in LUSAKA’s Kingsland City deemed to be proceeds of crime.

Ms. MUSONDA has submitted that the property in question still belongs to the seller as she allegedly had financial constraints to complete the transaction.

In the affidavit filed in the Economic and Financial Crimes Court, Ms. MUSONDA has further submitted that the property is not valued at 180,000 dollars as estimated by the Anti-corruption Commission-ACC.

She has submitted that assertions that she bought the property are not true.

Meanwhile Ms MUSONDA said the money she intended to channel towards the purchase of the Kingsland City property is not a proceeds of crime.

She has justified that she has been running her commercial television station for 24 years.

Ms. MUSONDA has submitted that she served a few years ago, in managerial positions at ZNBC, South Africa Broadcasting Corporation-SABC, ZAMBIA Development Agency-ZDA.

This is in a matter where Ms. MUSONDA is charged with possession of properties deemed to be proceeds of crime.
