Government has assured former Zambia Airways employees that they will be paid their terminal benefits.

Transport and Logistics Minister, FRANK TAYALI says his ministry is actively looking into the matter.

Mr. TAYALI says this follows the directive from President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA that the former workers are paid their benefits.

Mr TAYALI said this during the Third Crews and Allied Workers Union of Zambia – CRAWUZ – General meeting in Kapiri Mposhi, Central Province.

And, Mr. TAYALI has challenged unions to ensure they represent their workers with a united voice.

And Outgoing CRAWUZ President BEVIS SILUMBE has commended the new dawn government for clearing the salary arrears for the TAZARA workers.

Meanwhile, Central Province Assistant Labour Commissioner, CHARLES MUWOWO has warned companies that are preventing workers from belonging to a Union.
