EP Minister Phiri Calls for Accountability in CDF

Eastern Province Minister PETER PHIRI says implementers of the Constituency Development Fund -CDF- should be held accountable to sustain the gains of the UPND government.

Mr. PHIRI says the UPND has laid a firm developmental foundation in last two two years.

He says the UPND ended cadrerism, increased CDF and introduced the NAPSA partial withdraw.

The Minister says the government is receiving a lot of goodwill from the people in the region because of positive strides made.

Mr. PHIRI said this in his analysis of the UPND’s two year stay in office.

And Chipangali Town Council Chairperson MAXSON NKHOMA says the district is one of the major beneficiaries of the massive developmental projects that the government has spearheaded in the last two years.
