Green Eagles vice-captain Gift Wamundila says the Kawale Boys will put their heads together and find a solution to their current dry spell.

The Choma based outfit was handed a 2-1 defeat in their CAF Champions League pre-group stage first leg tie by Clube Desportivo 1º de Agosto to stretch their winless run to four games.

“At this stage, we have reached we have not won in four goals. We need to support the coach because he has been pushing to win games and today we have not done what he expected so as to players we will sit down and put our heads together and in the next game we shall turn the tables around,” he said.

When asked about the goals conceded on Saturday at Heroes Stadium, Wamundila described them as ‘silly’ and felt they could have been avoided.

” I feel very bad because we have lost. We could have done much better especially in defense We conceded two silly goals which if we had tactical discipline we could have defended those two goals but that’s the name of the game we just have to forge ahead we have the second leg and we need work on the mistakes we made, ” he said.

Next on the table for Eagles is a league match against Nakambala at home this Saturday before making the trip to Angola for the CAF Champions League pre-group stage second leg encounter against Agosto.
