Eagles beat Power Dynamos at Arthur Davies Stadium

Power Dynamos poor start to the season continued on Sunday as they succumbed to a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Green Eagles at Arthur Davies Stadium.

Joseph Kanema scored a stunner to seal the win for the Kawale Boys. Godfrey Ngwenya leveled matters after Lineker Mwiikisa had put the visitors in the lead.

The win is the first of the season for Aggrey Chiyangi and his men who suffered a shock 2-1 loss at home to Buildcon last weekend.

The win is also Eagles first at Arthur Davies Stadium. The win takes Green Eagles to fifth on the log table while Power Dynamos remain rock bottom.

A very rough start for Masautso Tembo with two losses in the opening two fixtures in the MTN League.

Power Dynamos next travel to Prison Leopards on Wednesday before their home game in week four against Forest Rangers.

Green Eagle will host Lusaka Dynamos on Wednesday in Choma before embarking on another away encounter into the capital against Nkwazi.
