DUNDUMWEZI HEADMEN FOR ECL

(ZANIS) Headmen from Chikanta and Siachitema Chiefdoms of Dundumwezi constituency in Kalomo district of Southern Province have pledged to rally behind President Edgar Lungu in the Thursday general election.

Speaking on behalf of other Headmen when former Education Minister Michael Kaingu met them at Dundumwezi hill, Headman Habasimbi said President Lungu is the only President who has looked into their plight.

He said the two Chiefdoms are grateful to President Lungu for the communication towers, electricity and the road network in the area.

Headman Habasimbi observed that no leader would respond to the people in the manner President Lungu did especially after the 2016 results in Dundumwezi.

And Dr. Kaingu, who is on tour of the Province to drum up support for President Lungu, appealed to the people to turn out in numbers and vote for all Patriotic Front candidates, including the President.

Dr. Kaingu said President Lungu has not finished his development agenda for Dundumwezi and other parts of the country adding that more good things will come when he retains power after August 12.
