DR. MWALE REJOINS UPND

Losing Kapoche constituency Independent Candidate in last year’s general elections, ERIC MWALE has re-joined the UPND.

Dr. MWALE announced his decision in Kapoche Constituency, Sinda district which he attributes to the exemplary and progressive leadership style of President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA.

He further said that President HICHILEMA has proved that he means well for the country.

Dr. MWALE added that UPND is a party that he supported before he decided to stand as an Independent Candidate, in Kapoche last year.

He appealed to all UPND members in Kapoche constituency to work together in mobilising new members.

At the same event, over 150 PF members from all the 11 wards in Kapoche constituency defected to the UPND.

And welcoming the defectors UPND Eastern Province Trustee, JAMES BANDA appealed to all party members in the Province to accommodate the new members.

Mr. BANDA, who represented UPND Provincial Chairperson, JOHABI MTONGA said the party is confident that Dr. MWALE will add a lot of value to the party.

And one of the defectors, AARON NJOVU said he has decided to join UPND because of the good policies of the new Government.
