DON’T PANIC, DR KALUMBA ASSURES PARENTS

Patricia Banda-Ministry of General Education Permanent Secretary JOBBICKS KALUMBA has assured parents and Guardians that there is no cause to panic over the new wave of Covid-19.

Dr. KALUMBA has insisted that all schools will open on January 18, 2020 and that there are no plans yet to close schools due to the new wave of COVID-19.

He however says the ministries of General education and Health will continue to collaborate.

Dr. KALUMBA says the Ministry of General Education will use the same health guidelines that were provided last year in all the schools such as masking up, washing hands and social distancing

He told ZNBC news in a telephone interview that all Zambians must trust in God in the wake of the new strain of COVID 19.
