DELIVER TO THE PEOPLE- COUNCILORS TOLD

Eastern Province UPND Chairperson Johabie Mtonga has urged councilors in Chipangali District to preoccupy themselves with delivering services to the people.

Mr. Mtonga says time for politics is long gone as citizens now have a lot of expectations from the elected leaders.

The UPND Eastern Province Chairperson was speaking when he paid a courtesy call on Chipangali council chairperson Maxson Nkhoma.

And Mr. Nkhoma said the council will work with the government of the day.

He also said the district has started receiving farming inputs for the 2021 and 2022 farming season.

Mr. Nkhoma also appealed to the Food Reserve Agency to expedite the delivery of empty grain bags to the district.
