Defence Minister Chama Hits Back at Critics

Defence Minister Davies Chama has lashed out at some opposition political party leaders who are criticising the issuance of land to ministers and other eminent people meant for economic activities.Mr. Chama says Ministers, just like any other Zambian, follow procedure in applying for land meant for smallholder farms in a bid to contribute meaningfully to the development of the country.He says there is nothing wrong for any Zambian including ministers to acquire pieces of land legitimately.Mr. Chama said this in Mpika district, Muchinga Province, after touring some military cantonments.
