DEC,TIZ sign MoU on graft fight

Wilson Mulinda-Drug Enforcement Commission -DEC- and the Transparency International Zambia -TIZ- have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to work jointly in fighting corruption and money laundering.

The two organizations are cognizant of the need to work collaboratively in order to leverage on collective strengths and abilities.

They have also agreed that the MoU will support the development of Integrity tools.

Speaking during the signing ceremony, DEC Deputy Director, RONNET CHANDA said corruption still remains of paramount interest to the commission.

And Transparency International Zambia Executive Director, MAURICE NYAMBE said the organisations will leverage on the capacities of the two institutions.
