“CYBER BILL TARGETS ABUSERS”

By Mary Kachepa- Transport and Communications Minister Mutotwe Kafwaya says the cyber security bill is aimed at protecting citizens against abuse in the cyber space.

Mr Kafwayasays the bill is targeting individuals who abuse other citizens by conducting illegal activities on the cyber space.

He further said the Bill will consider the economic and social sector in its implementation.

He was speaking when he appeared before a joint committee on media, information, Communications technologies and National Security and Foreign Affairs which is considering the cyber security and cybercrimes bill 2021.
