COVID VACCINES: ZNPHI ADVISES ZAMBIANS

Zambia National Public Health Institute -ZNPHI- Acting Director, Kunda Musonda has advised Zambians to get the Covid-19 vaccine ahead of the expected fourth wave of the pandemic.

Dr Musonda says failure to get the jab may be catastrophic as seen during the third wave were several prominent and ordinary citizens succumbed to the disease.

Currently Only 4 point 1 percent of the targeted 8 point 4 million eligible adults countrywide have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Dr. Musonda was speaking to ZNBC news in Lusaka.
