COVID-19: DON’T POLITICISE-MBEWE

Patriotic Front -PF- Member of the Central Committee Kebby Mbewe has advised opposition political parties to stop politicising the Covid-19 pandemic and other natural disasters.

Mr. Mbewe says a named political party is in the habit of taking advantage of every situation to play cheap politics.

He says the second wave of the Coronavirus is more dangerous, adding that politicking cheaply by sponsoring youths to write propaganda statements on social media will just divide the country.

Mr. Mbewe says the habit is uncalled for and must be condemned.

He says social media must be used properly to educate people and not to mislead the nation.

Mr. Mbewe, who was speaking to ZANIS in Choma, further called on Zambians to continue supporting President Edgar Lungu as he is responding swiftly to any calamity.
