COSAFA U17: SHEPOLOPOLO FACE BOTSWANA IN FINAL

The Zambia women’s Under-17 will this afternoon battle Botswana in the 2021 COSAFA championship final tournament.

The encounter will kick-off at 17:00 hours as both teams battle for gold.

Zambia earned a spot in the final after beating Namibia two nil yesterday as they finished top of the group comprising Botswana and Namibia.

The final will also serve as a rematch of the opening encounter that saw Zambia beat Botswana three nil.

Botswana on the other hand beat Namibia 2-1 in a fixture played early today and was officiated by 17 year old Zambian referee RAPHAEL MBOTELA.

The match was MBOTELA’s first international assignment as he put up a superb command over the game.

And The Zambia National Broadcasting Corporation ZNBC will televise the game on the TV3 sports channel.
