Copper Queens To Arrive In Batches

The Zambia Women’s Football Team is set to arrive from Morocco in batches due to flight challenges to carry the whole contingent.

Football Association of Zambia -FAZ-General Secretary, ADRIAN KASHALA says the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations bronze medalists will arrive in groups with the first set to touch down  this evening at 18:30 hours aboard Rwanda Air.

KASHALA says the other group is on the way and will be in Zambia tomorrow while the last batch will leave on Monday July 25, 2022.

He says the team will remain in camp as they await a list of engagements with government and stakeholders in the aftermath of their historic achievement.

KASHALA has  thanked Government and the public for the unprecedented support rendered to the team throughout the tournament.
