Copper Queens beat North Macedonia

A late goal from GRACE CHANDA saw Zambia open their Turkish Women’s Cup campaign with a one nil victory over North Macedonia.

CHANDA who was a first half substitute proved to be the difference as her stoppage time goal gave Zambia the victory after almost 90 minutes of playing without a goal.

BRUCE MWAPE had a star studded team with most of the key players given enough time to exhibit their skills in the game.

Speaking after the Game, Copper Queens Coach, MWAPE said the team missed a lot of chances and will work on the finishing in the other games to come.
