Cameroon U-17 WNT 3-0 Zambia 17 WNT (Camila Daha 23′, 87′, Mana Lamine 33′)

The Zambia Women’s Under-17 National Team has crushed out of the race to the 2022 India FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup after succumbing to a 3-nil defeat at the hands of Cameroon in the third round, second leg match played this afternoon in Yaounde at the Ahidjo Ahmadou Stadium.

Coach Kaluba Kangwa made a couple of changes to his starting lineup from the team that played the first leg at Nkoloma Stadium.

However, a brace from Camila Daha and a goal from Mana Lamine were enough to secure a well deserved passage to the final round for the Young Lionesses with a convincing 5-nil aggregate scoreline having won 2-nil a fortnight ago in Lusaka.

Cameroon will now face the winner between Burundi and Tanzania in the fourth and final round of the World Cup Qualifiers.

Burundi and Tanzania will square off tomorrow Sunday in Zanzibar at the Amaan Stadium with The Young Twiga Stars going into this second leg with a 4-nil advantage scoreline to their name and they will be hoping they bury the tie in front of home supporters when they face Burundi tomorrow afternoon.
