COP NABBED FOR MURDER OF NSAMA NSAMA

By Hector Simfukwe- Police in Lusaka have charged and arrested Constable Fanwell Nyundu aged 25, a police officer in connection with the death of Prosecutor Nsama Nsama Chipyoka and Joseph Kaunda.

Police Spokesperson Esther Katongo says the suspect has been charged with two counts of murder.

Mrs. Katongo says Nyundu is currently in police custody and will appear in court soon.

This is contained in a statement made available to ZNBC News.

On December 23, 2020 Nsama and Kaunda were shot died when UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema appeared at Force Headquarters for questioning.

President Edgar Lungu then ordered for an investigation into the matter which has led to the arrest of the suspect.
