Concrete roads coming – MILUPI

Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development Minister CHARLES MILUPI says the Government remains resolute to ensuring that the construction of concrete roads in the country becomes a reality.

Mr. MILUPI says concrete roads have proved to last longer and are easier to maintain.

He said this in Lusaka today in a speech read for him by Permanent Secretary DANNY MFUNE during the symposium on construction of concrete roads in Zambia.

Mr. MILUPI said government has opened up the tender for the construction of the Kitwe Chibuluma road of which seven kilometers will be concrete.

He said the Chibuluma road will be used as a pilot project in implementing the concrete roads project.
