Col Katoba flags-off start of new season with a donation of balls
The FAZ Women’s national Representative Colonel Priscilla Katoba has flagged off the start of the inaugural National Women’s League.
Col Katoba who was the guest of honor at the Induction Workshop and Consultative meeting held at Football House on Friday told the Super League teams to take the league seriously and market it to attract sponsors.
“I hope we all take everything that has been given to us and put it into practice. Women in football should be unique, Let’s play our football professional and market ourselves so that we find a sponsor as soon as possible,” she said.
” I come from a discipline background, and football is anchored on discipline so I feel if we do the right thing a sponsor will come on board, Like the DGS said it’s easier to market Women’s football.”
Col Katoba also donated balls to all the 14 Super League teams to help them as they start the new season.
The FAZ Women’s National League will kick off this morning with six mouth-watering encounters taking place around the country.
