Clergy back bill 10

(ZANIS)The National Clergy Consultative Forum -NCCF- has supported the Constitutional Amendment Bill number 10 of 2019.NCCF Chairperson, Bishop George Mbulo says bill 10 has some progressive components that are vital for national peace and development.ZANIS reports that Bishop Mbulo was speaking at the National Clergy Consultative Forum (NCCF) press briefing in Lusaka today.Bishop Mbulo stressed that there was need to finalize the process and also consider the Executive Select Committee report on Bill 10.And NCCF Publicist Secretary, Elvin Nasilele has disagreed with those that have called for the setting aside of the entire document.Pastor Nasilele explained that those against the process have failed to come up with conclusive reasons as to why the process should not be finalized.The National Dialogue Forum -NDF- adopted proposed amendments to the electoral bill.
