The United Church of Zambia in Muchinga says the recruitment of over 30,000 teachers will improve the delivery of quality education especially in rural areas.

UCZ Muchinga Province Bishop Reverend FESTUS CHULU who has commended President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA for the successful recruitment says most of schools in rural have no teachers. He says the Church will continue to support government on such initiatives as they are for the betterment of the people.

Bishop CHULU says government is on the right path and should be given all the support to realize the many plans it has to transform the Country. The Clergyman was speaking during the induction service of Rev. SIMON BWEUPE as Minister in Charge of Muyombe Congregation in Mafinga District.

Meanwhile, Mafinga Member of Parliament ROBERT CHABINGA urged parents to ensure that children are in school because government has provided support for quality education.

Mr. CHABINGA said parents should not have excuses not to take their children to school because government has provided free education and employed more teachers. He praised government for ensuring that recruited teachers are from the local communities as that will not result in any of them requesting for transfers.
