CHISAMBA GETS EARTH MOVING EQUIPMENT USING CDF

Chisamba Member of Parliament CHUSHI KASANDA says government’s commitment to ensuring development is taken to the people through decentralization is bearing fruits.

Speaking during the commissioning and handover of earth moving equipment to the Chisamba Town Council valued at 13 million Kwacha from the 2022 CDF, Ms. KASANDA said President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA wants to see every Zambian benefit from the national cake.

Ms. KASANDA said the procured machinery will not only open up the roads for the people in Chisamba but also connect area to other districts.

Ms. KASANDA, who is also Information and Media Minister said the developments being witnessed under CDF is unprecedented.

And, Chisamba District Commissioner JOEL MBOYOMA said the procurement of the machinery is evidence of Government’s commitment to delivering Development to the people.

And, Chisamba Commercial Farmers representative ADAM STRONG has commended Government for considering road rehabilitation in the area.

Central Province Local Government Officer CLINT SOSIKU has urged the community to own the equipment and only use them for the intended purpose.
