Chipolopolo coach gives notice of termination of contract

Chipolopolo Coach ALIJOSA ASANOVIC has given the Football Association of Zambia -FAZ- notice of termination of contract as COACH.

FAZ Secretary General ADRIAN KASHALA says the Association is in receipt of a letter from ASANOVIC’s Lawyer.

KASHALA has told ZNBC News that according to the email from ASANOVIC lawyers, the Croatian born has made demands that he must be paid his dues in the next ten days.

However, KASHALA said that the FA does NOT owe ASANOVIC any money.

KASHALA said the FA had given the Coach targets which he has not met such as qualifying the Team to the Africa Cup and the World Cup.

Last week, FAZ said that ASANOVIC has NOT been with the team since his last assignment in a 2023 CHAN qualifier against Mozambique on July 30.
