CHIPOLOPOLO CAN WIN WITH RIGHT MENTALITY – PATRICK PHIRI

Former Chipolopolo Coach PATRICK PHIRI says having the right mentality will guarantee a win for the Zambia Men’s Football team against Ivory coast in their opening Group H 2023 AFCON qualifiers encounter.

PHIRI says the technical bench should psych the players to go for an outright victory when they battle the Elephants on June 3rd 2022.

He has told ZNBC Sports News in an interview that on paper the Ivorian National team looks strong but that the Chipolopolo are equal to the task.

PHIRI said the Chipolopolo should not be intimated by their opponents but work on a formula that will ensure victory.

He said getting a positive in their opening game will mark a good start and a strong pointer for the team’s performance in subsequent group games.

And the Former Green Buffaloes and Lumwana Radiants Coach nodded the appointment of MOSES SICHONE as Chipolopolo Assistant Coach.

PHIRI said SICHONE, being a former player turned coach, has vast experience and great knowledge of the game that will be of great benefit to the team.
