At Nkoloma Stadium, Red Arrows will host Luyando Foundation, Pamalat Girls will look forward to redeem themselves from last week 7 – 0 away loss to Green Buffaloes as they welcome a stubborn Bauleni United Sports Academy who are still craving for more points having won 2 – 1 last weekend at the expense of Kafue Cranes who host the second from bottom Olympic Flying Queens in Kafue.

Elsewhere, Lusaka Queens coming from a 3 – 1 defeat at the hands of YASA Queens will be up against National Assembly who are aiming for an outright win for them to take the top 5 teams to the wire.

GREEN EAGLES – YASA QUEENS

Green Eagles who are currently occupying position number 4 with 20 points host second placed YASA Queens who are 5 points ahead of them and are yet to taste defeat in the 2019 League. What makes this game even more interesting is that, both teams are coming from convincing wins with Green Eagles silencing Luyando Foundation 5 – 0 while YASA beat Lusaka Queens 3 – 1 and it’s a winner takes it all interms of bragging rights. A win for YASA will stretch their unbeaten run to 10 games and within 2 points off log leaders Green Buffaloes while Defeat for Eagles will pave way for National Assembly to overtake them if they win away at Lusaka Queens.

YASA

CHIPARAMBA BREAKTHROUGH SPORTS ACADEMY – GREEN BUFFALOES

Having failed to travel to face the Parliamentarians last weekend, Chiparamba Breakthrough Sports Acadmey face a stern test as they welcome red hot and table toppers Green Buffaloes Women Football Club. Chiparamba’s last win was on 14th April, 2019 when they beat their fellow strugglers Lusaka Queens 4 – 1 at home and will be hoping to rise to the occasion and upset the tables against The Soldiers. On the other hand, Buffaloes so far have 42 goals in their bag and the only team who are yet to allow a goal as they have not conceded in this 2019 season. Also they are unbeaten for a long period of time and they have no idea how defeat tastes, they always aim for wins. And this could just be another 3 points in the bag for Coach Charles Haalubono’s side.

RED ARROWS – LUYANDO FOUNDATION

This is arguably the battle between Goliath and David in terms of physical stature of these two teams. Both teams are coming from defeats and will be looking forward to redeem themselves in this game. Red Arrows playing at home and with a vast experience will have a slight edge over league debutants Luyando Foundation who are still trying to discover their winning formula. The Air Women have lost twice in this campaign while Luyando have suffered 6 defeats. Both Arrows and Luyando’s last victory was against the same opposition which Is Olympic Flying Queens with Luyando coming out too strong beating them 5 – 0 and Arrows hammered them 8 – 0. This is a game were a win may look easy for the home team but underrating Luyando could be at their own risk and might pull a surprise but Arrows will bank and really use their experience in this encounter.

Red Arrows

LUSAKA QUEENS – NATIONAL ASSEMBLY

Lusaka Queens have an uphill battle at home as they welcome National Assembly who have always been a force to reckon with in the league. Lusaka Queens have been struggling to pick up maximum points and out of 9 games they have only pocketed 3 points compared to Assembly’s 18 points. Already this statistic tells us something in terms of what to expect from this encounter. It’s an easy one for the parliamentarians but of course without taking anything away from Lusaka Queens who have really been trying their best in each and every game they have played so far.

PAMALAT GIRLS – BAULENI UNITED SPORTS ACADEMY

With only 3 points separating these two sides, it’s going to be a tight game with the home side needing maximum points more because they are below Bauleni on the log standings and would want to make up last week’s 7 – 0 hummiliation at the hands of Green Buffaloes. Bauleni United are still fresh from a 2 – 1 sweet Victory over Kafue Cranes and would want to inflict more pain to the Milk Girls. Another interesting game to look out for this weekend.

KAFUE CRANES – OLYMPIC FLYING QUEENS

This is a battle of 8th placed – Kafue Cranes Vs 2nd from bottom Olympic Flying Queens who have a -35 Goal Difference. The Cranes are coming from a 2 – 1 loss away in Bauleni while Olympic pocketed 3 points from Lusaka United who have forefeited their matches. The Cranes are on a better position to win this match and will even utilize on their home ground advantage to make sure they collect maximum points. Olympic Flying Queens will aim to upset the tables by fighting till the end to win this tie.

N.B All Games Are Slated For Saturday – 27th April, 2019, Time 10.00hrs.
