Chilufya nets hat-trick, goals for Patson Daka and Kalunga

Several Zambian players abroad were in action with their respective teams. The Tiger, Edward Chilufya scored a hat-trick, Patson Daka and Kenneth Kalunga were on target.

Rally Bwalya assisted one goal and was involved in another while Klings and Evans Kangwa suffered huge defeats at the hands of Sochi.

In DR Congo, Kabaso Chongo and Tandi Mwape put in full shifts while Rainford Kalaba was an unused substitute for TP Mazembe in their goalless draw with Lupopo.

In Morocco, Striker Lazarus Kambole came from the bench to play the last 13 minutes for Kaizer Chiefs who suffered a humiliating 4-0 defeat at the hands of Wydad Casablanca.

In South Africa, Midfielder Austin Muwowo was a second-half substitute for Orlando Pirates who came from a goal down to beat Maritzburg United 3-1 in the Nedbank Cup.

Striker Justin Shonga was a second-half substitute while Charles Zulu was an unused substitute in Cape Town City’s shock 2-1 defeat at the hands of Chippa United in the Nedbank Cup.

In Sweden, Forward Edward Chilufya scored a hat trick as Djurgadens IF beat Umeå FC 7-0 in the main Swedish football cup, Svenska Cupen.

Midfielder Emmanuel Banda was an unused substitute.

In Ukraine, Defender Shemmy Mayembe put in a full shift for FC Minai who beat Olimpik Donetsk 2-1 to end a two-match losing streak.
