Child crushed to death by zebra statue

Julius Sakala-A 3-year-old child has been crashed to death, by a concrete ZEBRA statue, at a private school in Chongwe district.

The incident happened around 15 hours yesterday when the statue fell on the child, as they were playing with the statue.

Police Deputy Public Relations Officer, DANNY MWALE has confirmed in a statement, identifying the child as ANASTASIA KASHANGA.

Mr MWALE said police have opened an inquiry file to establish the actual cause of death.
