“CHIEFS STAY OFF POLITICS”

ZANIS- Muchinga Province Minister HENRY SIKAZWE has called on the traditional leadership in the province to stay off politics.

Mr SIKAZWE,who also Senga Hill Member of Parliament, says Chiefs are custodians of national values in various communities they live in hence should not get involved in active politics.

He says the new dawn government will not tolerate such conduct from the traditional leaders saying such acts leads to disrespect from their subjects.

Mr SIKAZWE said the desire of Government is to see sub-chiefs, chiefs , senior chiefs and paramount chiefs be respected as it is part of the nation’s national values and principles.
