CHIEF NKAMBO CALLS FOR PEACE

 

Chief NKAMBO of the Lamba speaking people of Masaiti District on the Copperbelt has asked Zambians to guard the country’s record of being the beacon of peace on the continent.

Chief NKAMBO says there is no need for politics to divide the Zambians as the country try heads to the polls this week.

The Chief says those taking part in oilitics should ensure the country remains peaceful during and even after the polls.

The traditional leader was speaking when President EDGAR LUNGU’s running mate Professor NKANDU LUO called on him in Kafulafuta this morning.

And Chief NKAMBO told professor LUO that the people of Masaiti are happy with President LUNGU’s for revamping major developments in the area.

He said it is under President LUNGU that the Kafulafuta-Mkushi Road has been done which has excited the people and made the movement of people easier.

Chief NKAMBO also cited the construction of a hospital in the area as one of the milestone the people are proud of.

And, Professor LUO said President LUNGU and the PF have provided infrastructure to support development in many parts of the country.

Professor LUO said the link Zambia Project has eased the movement of goods and services which many Zambians especially in rural areas are appreciating.

She said it was good that traditional leaders are appreciating the development whichnhas reached their areas.
