Chief Muyombe Pledges To Work with HH

Chief MUYOMBE of the Mafinga District says he will support and work with President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA in his agenda to develop Mafinga District.

The traditional leader, however, called on the Government to construct the Isoka- Lundazi road as it links four districts and should be given urgent attention.

Chief MUYOMBE says the deplorable state of the road is hindering the effective delivery of services and coming in of investment in the district.

The Chief said this when Mafinga Member of Parliament ROBERT CHABINGA called on him at his palace before the Vinkhakanimba Traditional ceremony.

The traditional leader also advised the Member of Parliament and Government to develop rural areas.

The Chief also called on President HICHILEMA to give MUYOMBE district status.

And Mr. CHABINGA thanked the traditional leader for the guidance he continues to provide to him in ensuring that development is achieved in the district.

Mr. CHABINGA also stated that he will continue to provide objective checks and balances to the Government but stated that President HICHILEMA is moving the country in the right direction and should be given the necessary support.

And Muchinga Province Deputy Permanent Secretary Reverend MATTHEWS CHILEKWA who also called on the Chief MUYOMBE reaffirmed Government’s commitment to working with Traditional leaders to advance development.
