Chief Matebo dies

Justin Kawisha-Chief MATEBO of the Kaonde speaking people of Kalumbila District has died.

Chief MATEBO died on Sunday the 25th December 2022 in Maina Soko Military Hospital after a short illness.

Matebo Royal Establishment Secretary ADONA KYEMBE has officially announced the death of Chief MATEBO the 13th in a statement released to ZNBC News .

Mr. KYEMBE said that the burial for the Chief will take place on Tuesday 3rd January 2023 at the Matebo Royal Cemetery in Kalumbila.

Chief MATEBO whose real names are EVANS NYELETI, ascended to the throne on 1st August 2016.
