Charles Kalumba and Kebson Kamanga lead newcomers at Arrows as Chisi unveils squad for 2021/2022 season
Red Arrows head coach Chisi Mbewe has named his 2021/22 squad after concluding all retention and reinforcement protocols.
The confirmed new signings for the Airmen include goalkeeper Charles Kalumba from Prison Leopards FC, defender Kebson Kamanga from Zanaco FC, and winger Gabriel Miti from National Assembly FC
Young striker Ricky Banda has also joined the Super Division and CAF Confederation envoys on a 3-year loan deal from Jumulo FC.
The Zambia U-20 national team striker will be at Nkoloma until June 2024. The deal is for an undisclosed fee.
Young midfielder Jackson Mphande has also been recalled after a successful loan spell at Malaiti Rangers FC. The Head Coach has further indicated that two more signings will be concluded in due course to complete the squad.
Red Arrows FC is currently in Ndola for a ten-day-long pre-season where they are expected to play a series of friendly matches.
The Airmen this afternoon played Tanzanian giants Azam FC in an international friendly at Levy Mwanawasa which they won 4-0 thanks to goals from Sadamm Yussuf Phiri, Kayembe Alidor, Alassane Diarra, and defender Nicksom Mubili.
Red Arrows will face Young Buffaloes of Eswatini in the first preliminary round of the CAF Confederation Cup. Should Arrows get past this stage they will face Angolan outfit CD Primeiro de Agosto.
