NAPSA Stars football club midfielder and captain Dickson Chapa believes his team won away in Kenya against Gor Mahia because they followed the coach’s tactics.

Chapa says the team must go to sleep because they won away but finish the job at home when they host K’ogalo this Sunday at the National Heroes Stadium.

“We were playing away from home and we managed to pick up maximum points I think the most important thing we did is we played according to the coach’s plan, and we are very much conscious knowing that we managed to get a win away and we should finish the job at home,” he said.

When asked about his team’s performance in the local League Chapa had this to say, ” going to the local league we have improved in the past 4 to 5 games we have improved and we know what is at stake and we will do better,” he said.

“I think it’s a different competition [confederation] and we have set the target as the team in the Confederation but also we need to concentrate in the league because we are playing Confederation because we did well in the league

So we got a task and a big task so we have to improve and work very hard in the league,” Chapa concluded.

An 86th-minute goal from Daniel Adoko was all that the pensioners needed to collect maximum points away from home in Kenya with the second league set for Sunday 21st, February 2021 at the National Heroes Stadium, Lusaka.
