CAF CL: Chama’s goal and assist, not enough as Kambole’s chiefs progress to the semifinals

Simba SC 3 – 0 Kaizer Chiefs (Agg: 3-4)

A goal and an assist by Chipolopolo midfield ace Clatous Chama not enough as Simba pays for letting in four in the first leg.

Chama set up John Bocco for the opener in the 24th minute before scoring the third goal with four minutes to go on the clock. Bocco grabbed his brace in the 56th minute.

Kaizer Chiefs sail to the Semifinals thanks to a 4-3 aggregate scoreline. The glamour boys will face the winner between Wydad Casablanca and MC Alger.

Lazarous Kambole (Kaizer Chiefs) and Larry Bwalya (Simba) were on the bench.

Elsewhere, Kennedy Mweene was an unused substitute for Mamelodi Sundowns who played out to a 1-1 stalemate with Al Ahly to bow out of the competition owing to a 3-1 aggregate scoreline in favor of the team of the century.

Zambian referee Janny Sikazwe was the center referee in this match.
