CAF CC: Clatous Chama in a dream draw as he returns to Dar with RS Berkane are drawn

Apart from the group of death where the Bankers, Sensational Zanaco have been drawn, Zambian fans have an interest in two other groups, Group C and Group D.

Group C sees DR Congo giants TP Mazembe drawn alongside Coton Sport of Cameroon, Al Masry of Egypt and Congolese side AS Otoho.

The two time Champions have three Zambian players on their books in 2012 AFCON winner Rainford Kalaba and defenders Kabaso Chongo and Tandi Mwape.

Mazembe dropped to the Confederations Cup after an away goal elimination from the CAF Champions League by Amazulu FC of South Africa before edging Marumo Gallants 1-0 on aggregate to secure their place in the group stage.

Group D will see midfielders Clatous Chota Chama and Rally Bwalya will reunite but this time around on opposite sides as RS Berkane of Morocco has been draw alongside Simba SC of Tanzania.

Simba eliminated Zambian side Red Arrows 4-2 on aggregate to reach the group stage while RS Berkane saw off APR of Rwanda 2-1 on aggregate.

The fixtures will run from February 13th and 3rd, April 2022.
