CAA: ZAMBIA MINTS 7 MEDALS

The Confederation of African Athletics -CAA- Under-18 and Under-20 games, which Zambia had been hosting from last week, ended on Wednesday, with Zambia winning 7 medals.

The Zambian contingent won 4 Silver, and 3 Bronze during the games hosted in Ndola on the Copperbelt.

The Junior Championship which attracted over 47 countries with over 800 participants was tightly contested with South Africa minting the most gold medals.

The last time Zambia participated in the games was in 2019 when the country won only one medal.
