Brazilian midfielder scores for Arrows in a pre-season win over Eagles

Brazilian midfielder Cruz Queiroz came off the bench to score for Red Arrows to propel the airmen to a 1-0 win over Green Eagles in a pre-season match.

On day 2 of a Four Club Tournament at Nkoloma Stadium, Arrows coach Chisi Mbewe named a young side in his starting line up.

Teenage sensation Joseph Sabobo Banda, Mukuka Kafula, Brian Chilimina, Richard Daka and Happy Nkisu all started with new signing Conlyde Luchanga.

After the break Queiroz was introduced and the Brazilian had a dream debut as he scored the only goal of the match.

Queiroz is on 2 weeks trial from National First Division side Kafue Celtic.

On match day 1 on Friday, the Zambian Champions beat Zanaco 1-0 while Eagles played out to draw with Zesco United.
