Boost for Copper Bullets as Edward Chilufya assists in Midtjylland win ahead Chipolopolo duty

Zambian winger Edward Chilufya contributed with an assist for the second goal of the match as FC Midtjylland side winded up their 3F Superliga campaign with a 3-2 win over Randers.

Chilufya was named in the starting line upas he joined Gustav Isaksen, and departing Anders Dreyer in attack.

Gustav Isaksen put FCM in the lead just seven minutes to the game as he finished off Evanders’s pass to give the MCH Arena something to cheer about.

Anders Dreyer doubled the lead in the 37th minute as he finished off a Chilufya pass.

Tosin Kahinde pulled one back for Randers three minutes to half time. An own goal from Nicolai Brock- Madsen leveled matters in the 72nd minute.

Brazilian midfielder Evander put the hosts back in the lead eight minutes later as he curled a free kick from 25 meters directly into the box ten minutes before time.

Midtjylland finished their season in second spot on the log table, a spot that guarantees them a place in next season’s UEFA Europa League [2nd Qualifying Round] which will start in July.

Chilufya is expected to join the Zambia national team camp ahead on next month’s AFCON qualifiers against Ivory Coast and Comoros.
