BOIMEDICS WELCOME RECRUITMENT OF HEALTH WORKERS

The Biomedical Union of Zambia is delighted that government has continued to budget for recruitment of Health workers.

Union President DANIEL MWIMBE says continued recruitment of health workers will help to achieve universal health coverage.

Mr. MWIMBE says the proposed recruitment of three thousand health workers should cater for all different professions in the health sector.

He told ZNBC News that the association is also pleased that there is increased allocation for health supplies in the 2023 budget.

Meanwhile Zambia Union of Nurses Organization General Secretary FRAY MICHELO has welcomed the planned recruitment of health workers in the 2023 national budget.

Mr. MICHELO said continued recruitment will ensure that that many unemployed health personnel are absorbed and help to attain universal health coverage.
