ARMY WORMS RAVAGE CHILANGA FIELDS

By Kasabula Muchimba:Six thousand Four hundred hectares of maize fields in Chilanga District have been affected by Army Worms.Seven thousand farmers are affected out of a total of 15 thousand in the district.And Chilanga District Commissioner Edith Muwana said government has started the distribution of chemicals to the farmers.Ms. Muwana said 4- hundred litres of chemicals have been distributed and that another consignment will be dispatched next week.
