Action for Fashion Sakala in top-of-table clash

Chipolopolo striker Fashion Sakala put-in a second half shift as Rangers were handed a 3-0 loss at Celtic in an evening midweek league fixture.

A first half double from Japanese international Hatete and Abada’s strike before the stroke of half time were enough to see Celtic displace Rangers at the league summit.

Fashion Sakala was introduced at halftime for Manchester United loanee, Amad Diallo to make his 18th appearance of the league season.

Sakala impressed with his link up play on the right wing when in possession, only lacking the final ball to penetrate the hosts’ resolute defence.

At times, he seemed to drift too wide on right which left him isolated from good attacking opportunities (Could be have been tactical instructions from the coach to stretch the hosts).

The closest Rangers came to pulling a goal back was when they hit the cross bar in the 79th minute from Jack’s long range effort.

The result sees Rangers drop to second on the Scottish Premiership log on 56 points, one point behind, Celtic.

So far, Sakala has registered 5 goals and two assists in his first Scottish Premiership campaign.
