4 YEAR-OLD GIRL BURNT FOR EATING NSHIMA AT NEIGHBOR’S HOUSE

A 4 year old girl has been burnt on her palms by her aunt for eating nshima from a neighbor’s house in Lusaka’s Gripisi Compound in Meanwood

And Police Assistant Public Relations Officer GODFREY CHILABI has confirmed saying the 35 year old suspect has been apprehended.

Mr CHILABI says the girl was locked up inside the house before being assaulted.

He has told ZNBC News that a hot spoon was allegedly used to assault the girl.

The incident happened on Friday December 2 around 20 hours when the victim returned home.

Mr CHILABI says the girl has since been taken to a safe house while her Aunt is in Police custody.
