35 COVID 19 CASES RECORDED IN 24 HOURS

By Patricia Banda-Zambia has in the last 24 hours recorded 35 cases of Covid 19 out of 5,412 tests that have been conducted across the country.

Ministry of Health Permanent Secretary Technical Services, KENNEDY MALAMA says the cases have been detected in Chongwe, Lusaka, Mufulira, Ndola and Livingstone.

Dr MALAMA has also disclosed that the country has in the last seven days recorded 165 Covid 19 cases and 331 recoveries.

He said this during the routine update of Covid-19 at the Ministry of Health in Lusaka today.

Dr. MALAMA explained that there is now a total of 17,700 cumulative cases and 17,086 recoveries from the time of the disease outbreak.

He stressed that the fight against Covid 19 is still on and that people should not relax the five golden rules which are to mask up, washing hands, seeking medical attention and avoiding crowded places among others.
