2,000 DEFECT TO PF IN MANSA

Over two thousand members from various opposition political parties have defected to the ruling Patriotic Front -PF- in Mansa, Luapula province.

The defectors are from UPND, Socialist Party, Movement for Democratic Change among others.

This was during a mammoth PF mobilisation rally organised by the PF in Mansa Central led by area Member of Parliament Chitalu Chilufya this afternoon.

The defectors said they have joined the PF because of President Edgar Lungu’s focus on developing the country.

And Dr. Chilufya, who is PF member of the Central Committee, thanked President Lungu for the development the constituency has received.

He has further urged Luapula province and Zambia in general to rally behind the Head of State during the August polls to ensure continued development.
