160 ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS NABBED

The Immigration Department has apprehended 160 foreigners for various immigration offences.

This was in a clean up operation conducted in various parts of Lusaka to rid the city of illegal immigrants.

Immigration Department Spokesperson NAMATI NSHINKA has confirmed the development in a statement to ZNBC News in Lusaka today.

Mr NSHINKA has since commended members of the public for their continued collaboration with his office in enforcing immigration law by reporting suspected cases of illegal immigration.

Mr NSHINKA has, however, warned people that have continued to aid and harbor illegal immigrants to desist from such acts or risk beinmg arrested.
