1,000 TO RUN IN KANSANSHI MARATHON

Over 1,000 people have registered to participate in the annual Kansanshi Marathon scheduled for tomorrow in Solwezi.

The marathon has attracted athletes from within the country, Zimbabwe and South Africa.

The Kansanshi Marathon is aimed at promoting good health and fitness.

Winner of the Full Marathon will walk away with 42,000 Kwacha, while the second will walk away with 21,000 Kwacha.

The third placed athlete will be given 14, 000 Kwacha and the fourth will walk away with 8,000 Kwacha.

This is according to a statement issued to ZNBC News by Kansanshi Mining Corporate Affairs Specialist CLINTON MASUMBA.
