ZNPF TO PAY OUT K1.5BN

Labour Minister BRENDA TAMBATAMBA says about 5.4-billion Kwacha will be paid out to over 150,000 members of the Zambia National Provident Fund.

Ms. TAMBATAMBA says this is under the new law recently signed by President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA meant to benefit people that belonged to the defunct ZNPF.

The Minister adds that the National Pension Scheme partial withdrawal of benefits for majority subscribers is coming soon.

Ms. TAMBATAMBA said this in a speech read on her behalf by Acting Labour Permanent Secretary ZACHARIAH LUHANGA at the Basic Education Teachers Union of Zambia, -BETUZ- fifth quadrennial conference in Livingstone.
