ZNBC’s Children Talent Search to Cover Rural Areas

ZNBC Director General Richard Mwanza says the production of a Children’s talent search musical programme, “I can sing” will be extended to rural areas.Mr. Mwanza says the move is to give an opportunity to more children to explore their potential in singing.The Director General explained that the national broadcaster has the capacity to do productions but just needs resources from cooperating partners.Mr. Mwanza was speaking when he met Ten Children who have made it to the last round of the Competition to be held at Mulungushi International Conference Centre on September 22nd, 2019.And ZNBC Director Programmes Rose Chumpuka has thanked artists who have worked closely with the children to make the production possible.Chief Judge for the talent show programme Maureen Lilanda has urged Schools to take up music as a subject.Meanwhile, ZNBC Producer of the talent music Search programme Franklin Tembo Junior said the participants have been exposed to professional musicians in the country.
